10 Great Games that teach Kids, Teens and Adults about Finances

22. September 2010  by George Douvas

A recent study shows that most Americans don’t have "rainy days" funds and don’t prepare financially for predictable life events. On top of that, many of them can’t understand whether their mortgages have a fixed rate or not, can’t explain how compound interest works, etc.

The solution to these serious problems is simple: buy some books and read them, browse the net looking for good articles that talk about finances, and so on. This article showcases a much more entertaining solution though, offering a list with 10 free, fun online games suited for kids, teens and adults that will help them all learn about finances and then verify their knowledge.
